What you will do:
- You must interview an adult, preferably a relative, about a funny incident that occurred when they were young and that taught them a lesson. It might be helpful for you to write a few notes while you interview the adult.
- You will post a comment which reports the information you discovered from your interview: Paragraph 1 should contain the following information: a. who you are writing about (is the person related to you?) b. when did the incident occur; how old was the person? c) what funny thing happened? d) where the incident occurred. Paragraph 2 should contain the following: a) how a lesson was learned; why the person remembers this story after such a long time. Paragragh 3 should contain the following: a) tell how the person felt at the time it happened, and how the person feels about it now. b) Tell how you felt when this person told you this story. Were you surprised? Was it funny? c) reread the first sentence of your first paragraph. Think of a good concluding sentence that relates to it. Let the reader know that you are now done.
